12 Days of Christmas: Day 12 Santa

Merry Christmas Everyone!!! Hope you all are having a blessed and wonderful day!!! We are on to the 12th and final day of our challenge, which is SANTA!!! :)

I have been thinking of what I have been wanting to do for this one since the beginning. I finally decided that I wanted to do a lil something different because I realized I hadn't done ANY leopard print nails in this challenge and me being me I had to have at least one with it!!! I freaking LOVE LOVE LOVE these :)

I really can't explain why this works, for me at least haha, but it does and againnn I freaking LOVE this one, its my favorite I have done this challenge hands down. My favorite mani's to wear are animal print so I had to do one for Christmas and glad I did :)

12 Days of Christmas: Day 11 Tinsel

Day 11 is Tinsel.... I was a bit stumped on how to do this one. So if there is a lack of creativity to this post I apologize but I drew a complete and utter blank on how to do this.

Anway again this will be a short post :) Its Christmas Eve and I want to spend as much of it with my lil family as I can!!! Hope everyone is enjoying theirs too :)

12 Days of Christmas: Day 10 Elves

Only 2 more days after this post!!! We are on day 10 now, which is elves :)

So as you can see I kinda cheated and painted one of my nail wheels because I already painted my nails Saturday for day 12 and loveeee them and I don't want to take them off HAHA!!! And my mom said you could do mine but you have to leave the snowmen..... I was like nooo mom its okay keep your snowmen on LOL gotta love her!!!

12 Days of Christmas: Day 9 Wreaths

What?!?!?! There's only three more days left in the challenge!!! Can't believe that!!! Anywho today is day 9 and we are on to Wreaths.... I had this Genius idea to build my wreath with dots to get the effect of an ornament wreath.... apparently I'm not the only genius in this group teehee :D Love it!!!

This is going to be a short and sweet post, as I need to do some Christmas grocery shopping and a hair appt. later :) I loved the colors I chose and it looks kinda cute once put all together but doesn't translate well thru the photos and I couldn't capture it in a picture well :/

12 Days of Christmas: Day 8 Ornaments

I can't believe we are on day 8 or that Christmas is less then a week away!!!! I finally got all my shopping done just need to wrap them LOL!!! So Day 8 is Ornaments and I knew what I wanted to do from the start :) whewww hahaha

Again I have painted my moms nails for this challenge. I went to Sally's this past Saturday and picked up one of their Color Club Christmas mini polish sets. My mom is becoming almost...almost.... haha as bad as me, she loveddd the red and the green in the set and asked if I could paint her nails with them. She also didn't want to take off her snowmen mani, so I promised I would paint a snowman on this mani too :)

This was fairly easy, the free hand is coming to me a lot easier :) Thankfully.... the only problem was trying to change up the design on each ornament!!! I think they turned out really cute thou. My mom likes them so that's all that matters.... Quoting her "They're cuter then my other ones... they're just to damn cute!!!" haha I love my mom :)

12 Days of Christmas: Day 7 Snowflakes

So today is day 6... Snowflakes!!! I haven't seen an actual snowflake seen I was a little kid :( after years of always living somewhere where it had actual seasons, and places that snowed, we moved to Texas around my age of 12 and I haven't seen snow since!!!

Anyway on to my nails :) I initially had wanted to do my nails in Essie Aruba Blue but I have seen a lot of blue manicures with snowflakes so I chose to go PURPLE!!! With my lovely new CG Creative Fantasy from their new Cirque Du Soleil line. I absolutely LOVE this color!!!! It doesn't show thru enough with the glitter and snowflakes but it is so pretty!!!

So the snowflakes were fairly easy enough to paint on with the striper nail polish. They turned out pretty cool, a lil thick or fluffy but I like them :)

12 Days of Christmas: Day 6 Gifts

Wow I can't believe we are at the half way point!!! December is flying by.... and I have yet to shop yet :/ Mainly cuz I was waiting to get paid, but slightly because I procrastinate!!! HAHA

So today is day 6, gifts..... Now I had grand, GRAND I TELL YOU, ideas of how this was going to look :/ Soooo did not turn out what I had pictured in my head :(  but I do like them. I had initially tried the whole package look with the bow but my bows looked sad and it covered up the cool looking stamp design.

So I just went with the one "gift" nail and the rest is supposed to be Christmas gift wrapping paper :) I hope you like it!!!

The middle finger is red, not pink like it shows in some of the pictures.... again I need to brush up on photography skills, if I keep blogging :) Cuz my pictures are okay, but some of the pictures of the other nails in the challenge are just awesome!!! I wish I was more savvy with the camera and such... oh wells it is late and I must sleep to brave the crowds tomorrow!!! LOL

12 Days of Christmas: Day 5 Christmas Movie

We are on to day 5 of our challenge.... Christmas Movie..... the one I dreaded the most!!!

I am not so good at freehand painting images but I really wanted to try and make an effort to portray images from the movie I picked. Now with that being said my favorite Christmas movie(s) are Nestor the Long Eared Donkey and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. I initially had wanted to do my most favorite movie which is Nestor but I really couldn't think of how to paint my nails for that so I went with my second favorite :)

I kinda like how some of the nails turned out and completely lost it, with hysterical laughter at my thumb nail, in attempts at the abominable snowmen HAHAHAHA!!!! Could be because I'm tired but none the less I was laughing the whole time I painted it and broke out in laughter resulting in tears once finished!!!

 

 

As for the rest the Rudolph and his girl are kinda ehhhhh but I like how the Elf (the dentist haha) turned out and how the Burl Ives Snowmen turned out. :) Not sure these will stay on my nails past tomorrow haha but I am still enjoying this competition so much!!!

12 Days of Christmas: Day 4 Snowmen

We are already on to day 4.... Seems like this month is going by so fast...typical since I have yet to do ANY Christmas shopping!!!! Well I really really loved my Candy Cane mani, so much so that I actually free hand painted my right hand with my left (non-talented) hand!!! I will post a pic at the end of this so you can see :)

Anywayyyy I talked my mom into letting me paint her nails :) I decided to do kinda nontraditional colors, because by the time I started painting her nails I had seen quite a few that were in the blue hues so I wanted to be different :) Hey I'm a redhead I've always been different LOL

 

I found this cute snowmen tutorial on YouTube which I didn't do as good but I think they turned out pretty cute!! My mom was happy with them anyway.... I asked her if she was going to keep them on for ever and ever HAHA!!! I'm just glad she was a good sport and let me paint her nails, even thou it was slightly awkward taking the pictures with my make shift set up..... Thinking of trying to get my sister to let me paint hers for the next challenge....that's how much I dig my candy canes :)
